TBILISI (Georgia) – The Group Phase of FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2025 is now in the books, with the knockout stages to begin on Tuesday.

On the final day of group action, France, Türkiye, Spain, and Latvia remained unbeaten, with the Spaniards needing a basket from Guillem Tazo with 47.3 seconds left to beat Serbia, and Lithuania secured an overtime win in a thriller over Israel, thanks to a free throw from Gabrielius Buivydas with 6.3 seconds left.

After a close first 20 minutes, Türkiye upped the gears and blew past Estonia with a 52-16 second half to win 94-55, securing a 3-0 record in Group A. Real Madrid prodigy Omer Kutluay showed his class, shooting 58 percent from the field for 21 points and 4 assists for a rating of 24.
