Fleur Moors signs contract extension with Lidl-Trek through 2027

Belgian talent ready to build on first pro victory and take next steps with Lidl-Trek

Lidl-Trek is pleased to announce that 19-year-old Belgian Fleur Moors will remain with the Team through 2027, extending her contract for two more seasons.

Moors joined Lidl-Trek in 2024 as a neo-pro and has spent her first two seasons developing across road and cyclocross. The start of the 2025 season brought its share of challenges, with illness and a surgery sidelining her for three months. However, her determination and resilience paid off in June when she claimed her first professional victory at Dwars door de Westhoek—only her second race back after recovery.

In July, Moors tackled the biggest stage race of her career so far, the Giro d’Italia Women. Riding without pressure or expectations, she focused on gaining experience, learning from her teammates, and testing herself across the stages. Unfortunately, a crash on stage five left her with a broken wrist. Now, she is preparing to return to competition at the Tour de l’Avenir later this month. Over the winter she will also return to race cyclocross.

My motivation and ambition for the future is high. I know the Team and my teammates will help me as much as possible and I hope we can achieve something beautiful together. Let’s go for it!

“I’ve really liked the two past years in this Team, for me it felt really like a family,” said Fleur Moors. “When I joined the Team I wasn’t so used to having such a professional support system, so that took some time to get used to, but at the end I was so thankful for this. I’m thankful too, for the staff members in this team who are helping us to reach our goals. Also the teammates—without them I wouldn’t be the rider I am now. I’ve had the chance to learn from the best in the Team and I’m sure there are many more learning opportunities ahead and I’m glad I can do that for two more years in this Team.

“For me this season was quite a hard start, I had three months without training or racing and I had to be really patient. I wanted to go further and further but it wasn’t possible, but the Team kept believing in me and supporting me. The trust they gave me was super important and because of that I was super motivated to come back strong. In my second race back I came away with my first professional win which made me really happy. Without this Team the win wouldn’t have been possible. My motivation and ambition for the future is high. I know the Team and my teammates will help me as much as possible and I hope we can achieve something beautiful together. Let’s go for it!”

“Over the past two years, Fleur has impressed us with her eagerness to learn and her determination to improve,” said Luca Guercilena, Lidl-Trek General Manager. “She has already shown she can perform at a high level, particularly in one-day races, and her first pro victory this season was an important milestone—especially after the challenges she faced earlier in the year. Fleur is one of our brightest young talents, and we’re committed to giving her the time, support, and guidance she needs to continue her development without unnecessary pressure.”
