SWITZERLAND. Zurich Airport retail and dining turnover reached CHF357.9 million (US$444.3 million) in the first seven months of 2025, a slight dip of -0.7% compared to the same period last year. Airside sales climbed +2% but landside sales fell -4.1%.
The figures contrasted with passenger traffic growth of +3.4% year-on-year to 31 July, with volumes reaching 18.2 million.
Airside spend per departing passenger in the seven-month period fell -1.4% year-on-year to CHF23 (US$28.55).
In July alone, commercial turnover grew +0.4% to CHF62.4 million (US$77.47 million) while average spend dipped -2.6% in the month to CHF23.70 (US$29.42).
The commercial numbers lagged passenger traffic growth of +4.8% in the month, with volumes exceeding 3.2 million. ✈
