Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is reportedly readying a sweeping lineup of AI-powered products aimed at silencing doubts about its monetization strategy.
Bloomberg says the slate includes home robots, a smart speaker with a display, AI-enhanced security cameras, and a revamped lifelike Siri that can handle multiple users at once. The company is also working on thinner iPhones, a foldable smartphone, smart glasses, a new headset, and even a foldable MacBookiPad hybrid.
The centerpiece robot, described as a tablet on a movable limb, will track people and objects while powering FaceTime calls through a new large language model dubbed LLM Siri. The same AI backbone will boost current devices like iPhones and iPads. Apple’s software chief Craig Federighi told staff the Siri overhaul will deliver a much bigger upgrade than we envisioned.
