This 60-minute webinar is intended for communities, providers, policy makers and advocates interested in pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), HIV prevention and HIV testing. We will provide an overview of the key takeaways and guidance from the newly released WHO Guidelines on lenacapavir for HIV prevention and testing strategies for long-acting injectable pre-exposure prophylaxis. We also touch on some of the key issues and upcoming plans for lenacapavir implementation.
Objectives
By the end of the webinar, attendees will clearly understand the new WHO recommendations on lenacapavir, the supporting evidence, key implementation considerations, and evidence gaps, empowering them to drive advocacy and informed decisions on the introduction of lenacapavir in countries.
