How to watch Sha’Carri Richardson live at the Brussels Diamond League 2025

Sha’Carri Richardson will be looking to find her groove at the Brussels Diamond League 2025 on Friday (22 August) as the World Athletics Championships loom large.

The American sprinting ace is yet to reach the podium in a topsy-turvy and injury-affected season, and time is running out for fine-tuning ahead of her world title defence next month.

The Olympic 100m silver medallist has stepped into the blocks in the 100m only four times this season, including her opening race in Tokyo, where she finished fourth with a pedestrian time of 11.47 seconds.

Richardson later revealed she had been plagued by an unspecified injury she picked up in February.

She made her return at the Prefontaine Classic in July, where she finished in a distant ninth place behind training partner and in-form female sprinter Melissa Jefferson-Wooden.

In her most recent outing, Richardson made some positive strides, posting a season’s best 11.05 for a sixth-place finish at the Silesia Diamond League meeting. But Richardson will have to step up a gear or two if she wants to challenge Jefferson-Wooden, who is towering above the rest.

Richardson will get her chance to do that when she lines up against a stacked field in Brussels, including Jefferson-Wooden, and short-sprint G.O.A.T. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. Fraser-Pryce owns the meeting record of 10.72 since 2013.
