Led by rising star Pelle Larsson, Sweden are back on the FIBA EuroBasket stage after a 12-year absence, having last participated in 2013.
Also considering the strength and unity of the Swedish core, featuring veteran assets like Ludvig Hakanson, Simon Birgander, Melwin Pantzar, and Denzel Andersson, Mikko Riipinen’s team will be exciting to watch.
The blue-and-yellow national side will play the Group Phase in Tampere, alongside Finland, World Champions Germany, Great Britain, Lithuania, and Montenegro in Group B.
They will begin their campaign against the Finnish co-hosts on August 27 at 19:30 CET.
