VILNIUS (Lithuania) – Lithuania have officially confirmed their 12-man roster for the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket 2025, headlined by the country’s legend Jonas Valanciunas.

Head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis finalized the squad after the team wrapped up their preparations before getting to Tampere, beating Iceland by 13 points in their final warm-up.

They have been almost perfect in the preparation campaign for the biggest appointment of the summer, finishing with a 6-1 record in friendly games.

It won’t be the perfect roster for the Baltic basketball-loving country, as they won’t have Domantas Sabonis on board. However, Valanciunas can still be a dominant force at FIBA EuroBasket.

In their 14th straight participation at the tournament, Lithuania still look to make some noise – maybe even contend for their fourth-ever FIBA EuroBasket title?

Lithuania will play the Group Phase in Tampere, alongside co-hosts Finland, Germany, Sweden, Montenegro, and Great Britain in Group B.

They will begin their campaign against Great Britain on August 27 at 12:30 CET.
