Margaret Qualley gets honest about joining big movie franchise

Margaret Qualley has recently made honest confession about joining a major movie franchise.

The Maid star opened up that she intentionally stayed away from making any movies or TV shows that are part of a bigger franchise.

While promoting her new movie Honey Don’t!, Margaret explained what franchise she would join if she could.

Speaking on Collider Ladies Night, The Substance actress responded, “I don’t think I want to commit to a franchise.”

Margaret noted that the franchise takes “a lot of time” and she’s “scared” to commit for so long.

“I am a commitment-phobe maybe. But also, no one’s asking me to do anything,” shared the 30-year-old.

It is pertinent to mention that Margaret did appear in a big franchise movie, which is Happy Gilmore 2 alongside Adam Sandler.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Poor Things actress broke silence on rumours about joining the X-Men franchise in its upcoming reboot.

However, Margaret was taken aback by the speculation and denied it.

For the unversed, the actress, who is the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell, started her acting career with HBO’s The Leftovers and has since scored two Emmy nominations for her roles in Maid and Fosse/Verdon.

Considering Margaret didn’t fully rule out joining a franchise, it would come to a point on who is working on it behind-the-scenes.

“I think just the director. I think if you have an amazing director who you kind of feel safe and excited,” she added.

Meanwhile, Margaret is all set to star in an upcoming movie movie with an actor who is no stranger to franchise.
