Snoop Dogg rants on LGBTQ representation in kids’ films: ‘Scared to go to the movies now’

Snoop Dogg is now questioning whether he can take his grandchildren to the movies after viewing an animated Pixar film, which features to openly gay characters.

The rapper took his grandkids to “Lightyear,” a 2022 “Toy Story” spinoff.

“Oh s‑‑‑, I didn’t come in for this (s–t),” Snoop Dogg said in a recent episode of the “It’s Giving” podcast, per The Hill. “I just came to watch the goddamn movie,’” the rap legend recalled thinking. “It f‑‑‑ed me up. I’m, like, scared to go to the movies now. Y’all throwing me in the middle of s‑‑‑ that I don’t have an answer for.

“These are kids. We have to show that at this age? They’re going to ask questions. I don’t have the answer.”

“Lightyear” features Alisha Hawthorne, Buzz Lightyear’s friend and commanding officer. In the film, Hawthorne raises a child with her wife, with whom she shares a kiss.
