After a long wait, Helldivers 2 is finally coming to Xbox. After its launch on PlayStation 5 and Windows in 2024, this hugely popular co-op third person shooter was a major void for the Xbox players. Now it’s good to see that the void eventually gets filled up.Console-exclusivity was one of the most prominent weapons in the battle of consoles. But it seems the thin line is slowly diminishing as major first-party titles have already landed on the rivals’ camps, like Sea of Thieves, Microsoft Flight Simulator, etc. And Helldivers 2 is about to follow the same path.

Helldivers 2 is going to be launched on August 26, 2025 on Xbox Series X/S. Xbox One users might be disappointed but it was quite obvious because this Arrowhead title wasn’t released on the PS4 as well. Just like the other ports, the Xbox version of Helldivers 2 will have two editions: Standard Edition ($39.99) and the Super Citizen Edition ($59.99).As it’s going to be a global launch, Helldivers 2 will have different release timings across different regions, based on several local timezones. As soon as Helldivers 2 launches on Xbox, fans will be able to enjoy the highly anticipated crossover with Halo immediately. On the occasion of this long-awaited launch, Helldivers 2 is collaborating with another Xbox giant Halo. This new Warbond will introduce a new tier of rarity of items called Legendary.
