Netflix’s Wednesday has expanded the Addams family in Season 2, Part 2 of which arrives next week.
Season 2 has also brought back some heavy hitter characters from Season 1 like Christina Ricci’s Marilyn Thornhill aka Laurel Gates in Part 1. The second installment has more up its sleeve for Season 2 Part 2, as teased in the trailer for the upcoming second half.

Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams

Wednesday Addams loves all things grim and macabre, and she is working on a novel about Viper de la Muerte. At the beginning of Season 1, Wednesday had gone from school to school, leaving her latest after putting piranha in the pool to teach her brother Pugsley’s (Isaac Ordonez) bullies a lesson. At Nevermore Academy, she quickly gets pulled into some mysteries, and she won’t stop until she solves them.
Ortega is known for starring in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024), The Fallout (2021), Scream (2022) and X (2022). Most recently, she appeared in A24’s Death of a Unicorn (2024) alongside Paul Rudd and Will Poulter. She also starred alongside her Wednesday castmate Percy Hynes White in Winter Spring Summer or Fall, which will arrive on Paramount+ Sept. 1.

Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin
Hunter Doohan portrays Tyler Galpin, son of Sheriff Donovan Galpin (Jamie McShane). In Season 1, Tyler masqueraded as a Normie, but it turned out he was the big bad creature wreaking havoc in the woods around Nevermore. Tyler is a Hyde, and his condition was unlocked by Christina Ricci’s Marilyn Thornhill aka Laurel Gates after she told him that his mother was a Hyde and that she died due to her post-partum depression after giving birth to Tyler.
Doohan is also known for playing Adam Desiato, son of Bryan Cranston’s Judge Michael Desiato in Your Honor, Teenage Warren in Truth Be Told on Apple TV+ and Bastian in Daredevil: Born Again.

Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay
Joy Sunday plays Bianca, a Siren who doesn’t like to use her song for just any whim. Bianca and Wednesday had an enemies tension about them in Season 1, but they ultimately put that aside to save Nevermore from a resurrected Joseph Crackstone. Bianca is a member of The Nightshades, a secret society at Nevermore Bianca’s mother Gabrielle (Gracy Goldman) was in a cult called Morning Song, but Season 2 sees the duo work to shield Gabrielle from the founder.
Sunday has previously appeared in Dear White People (2021) and Shithouse (2020) as Sophia.

Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus
Image Credit: Courtesy of Netflix Ajax is a Gorgon, which explains why he wears a beanie around all the time. He and Enid had a romance going in Season 1, but she has her sights set on a different guy in Season 2. Ajax is also a member of The Nightshades.
Farmer also appeared in LifeHack (2025), the short film Of Wolves and Lambs (2020), Treadstone as Gabriel Becker and more.

Victor Dorobantu as Thing
Image Credit: Netflix Victor Dorobantu brings Thing, one of the great Addams family mysteries, to life. He animates the severed hand, which communicates in sign language and helps Wednesday investigate the myseterious goings on at Nevermore.

Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger
Image Credit: Jonathan Hession/Netflix Eugene Ottinger’s Outcast talent is controlling bugs. He helped Wednesday investigate the Hyde’s mysterious murders last season. In Season 2, he rooms with Pugsley.
Mostafa appeared as Nas in The Last Bus (2022) and also in Nativity Rocks! As a member of St. Bernadette’s Class.

Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams
Image Credit: Courtesy of Netflix Pugsley is Wednesday’s younger brother, and he is enrolled at Nevermore in Season 2. He lives with Eugene, though the pair aren’t exactly friends. After hearing a story on his first night in the dorms, Isaac sets out on his own adventures and ends up with quite a frightening companion.
Ordonez has previously appeared in the short film Husky as well as 7th & Union and other shorts like Dispara Y Mata and Psycho Sally.

Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams
Image Credit: Courtesy of Netflix Luis Guzmán portrays Wednesday’s father Gomez Addams. He attended Nevermore Academy back in the day, and that’s how he met Wednesday’s mother Morticia.
Guzmán has also recently appeared in Guns Up (2025) as Ignatius Lock, Havoc (2025) as Raul, Holy Cash (2024) as God and in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (2024) as Chalino Valdemoro. He is known for playing Maurice t. t. Rodriquez in Boogie Nights (1997(, Ray Castro in Traffic (2000), Lance in Punch-Drunk Love (2002) and Phil Ramos in The Taking of Pelham (2009).

Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams
Image Credit: Jonathan Hession/Netflix Catherine Zeta-Jones portrays Wednesday’s mother Morticia, and their relationship is strained in Season 2. Morticia also has a psychic ability like Wednesday, though her daughter is a Raven, and Tish is a Dove.
Zeta-Jones is known for playing Elena in The Mask of Zorro (1998), Gin in Entrapment (1999), Helena Ayala in Traffic (2000) and Velma Kelly in Chicago (2002).

Joanna Lumley as Grandmama
Joanna Lumley portrays Wednesday’s grandmother in Season 2. She owns a funeral home, and she taught Wednesday everything she knows about ashes, caskets and death.
Lumley is known for playing Patsy in Absolutely Fabulous and Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie (2016) and for voicing Maudeline Everglot in Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride (2005). She also played Aunt Emma in The Wolf of Wall Street (2013).

Christina Ricci as Marilyn Thornhill aka Laurel Gates
Image Credit: Helen Sloan/Netflix Christina Ricci played Marilyn Thornhill, Ophelia Hall’s dorm mom in Season 1 as well as the botany teacher, however she was really disguising her true identity of Laurel Gates, Normie descendant of Joseph Crackstone.
Ricci portrayed Wednesday in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993). She also played Kat in Casper (1995), Layla in Buffalo ’66 (1998) and. Kate Flax in Mermaids (1990). She played Misty in Yellowjackets and Alice Hayes in Guns Up (2025) alongside Luis Guzmán.

Heather Matarazzo as Judi Spannegel

She is known for playing Dawn Wiener in Welcome to the Dollhouse (1995), Barbara in The Devil’s Advocate (1997), Lilly Moscovitz in The Princess Diaries (2001) and Lorna in Hostel: Part II (2007).

Christopher Lloyd as Professor Orloff

Lloyd originally played Uncle Fester Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993), and he is also known for playing Dr. Emmett Brown in Back to the Future and Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988).

Thandiwe Newton as Dr. Fairburn

Newton is known for playing Nyah Hall in Mission: Impossible II (2000), Chrstine in Crash (2004), Linda in The Pursuit of Happiness (2006) and Maeve Millay in Westworld.

Billie Piper as Isadora Capri

Wednesday knows of Ms. Capri, who tries to recruit the titular character to join orchestra. Capri also does a music therapy class at Willow Hill, the insituttion where Tyler is being held.
Piper is known for Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Mansfield Park (2007) in which she played Fanny Price, Doctor Who in which she portrayed Rose Tyler and Penny Dreadful in which she played Lily.

Noah B. Taylor as Bruno Yusson
Image Credit: Jonathan Hession/Netflix Noah B. Taylor plays Werewolf Bruno, Enid’s new love interest, Bruno, as of Season 2 Part 1. He pays close attention to Enid, and he is musically gifted.
Taylor has previously appeared in an episode of Law & Order: Organized Crime.

Evie Templeton as Agnes Demille
Image Credit: Helen Sloan/Netflix Evie Templeton’s Agnes Demille is new to Evermore in Season 2. She is a major fan of Wednesday’s and even wears her bright red hair in braided pigtails. Agnes has the ability to turn invisible, so she can creep up on people or be a fly on the wall in a room without anyone knowing.
Templeton appeared in the Pleasure Island Troupe in Robert Zemeckis’ Pinocchio (2022). She also voices Laura in the Silent Hill 2 video game, and she appeared as Tally in the short film Red (2020).

Percy Hynes White as Xavier Thorpe

He does not appear in Season 2, but he is mentioned in Part 1. Xavier also had psychic visions of sorts that would haunt him in dreams. He would then transfer these dreams to paper, and he could animate his drawings to a certain extent.
White appeared as Chad in My Old Ass, and he also stared alongside his Wednesday costar in Winter Spring Summer or Fall (2024) as Barnes. He also played Matt Macarchuck in I Like Movies (2022) and Andy Strucker in The Gifted.

Gwendoline Christie as Principal Larissa Weems
Image Credit: Bernard Walsh/Netflix Gwendoline Christi played Principal Larissa Weems, a shapeshifter and Morticia Addams’ roommate during their time at Nevermore, in Season 1. She was killed by Thornhill after pretending to be Tyler to confirm who his Hyde master was, but as of the trailer for Season 2 Part 2, Weems will return from beyond the veil to be Wednesday’s new spirit guide.
Christie is known for playing Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones as well as Commander Lyme in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015). She also portrayed Captain Phasma in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015) and Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi (2017). She also recently appeared in Season 2 of Severance as Lorne the Mammalian.
