Gabriel Macht, who famously played lawyer Harvey Specter in Suits and Suits LA, shared a rare personal update with fans on Aug. 30, paying tribute to his parents’ love on their 61st anniversary.
The 53-year-old actor shared a post on Instagram featuring two side-by-side photos of his parents together, one on their wedding day and another taken more recently. Text at the top of the snap read, “61 Years – well done – love you both!”
In Macht’s caption, he jokingly referenced some text in the photo underneath his parents’ wedding picture that said, “Aug 30, 2022,” as he wrote, “1964 not 2022….unless they aged 61 ‘body’ years in just 3 ‘real’ years.”
Fans loved the sweet post from the TV actor, with earnest replies in the comments like, “Incredible to witness such love. Congratulations to them! 🥹❤️,” and “They are adorable! What a wonderful example they set for you and your siblings! ❤️.”
“Cuties! I hope there are still loves like this ❤️,” said another, as many more shared congratulations for the longtime couple.
Others called Macht’s parents “Couple goals!” and wrote sweet messages to them like, “Wishing you endless love ❤️ and many more wonderful years together.”
Macht Starred as Specter in Suits for 9 Seasons
Macht is most well-known for his role in Suits as Specter, a lawyer promoted to senior partner at his firm who hires Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, an intelligent young man who passes the bar exam despite not going to law school. Specter quickly finds out Ross’ secret, but the new lawyer stays on at the firm and Specter becomes his mentor.
Along with Macht and Adams, Suits also stars Meghan Markle, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman, Gina Torres and more. The show ran for nine seasons between 2011 and 2019. In 2023, Suits gained more popularity as people began watching it on Netflix, leading to a spinoff series, Suits LA, being greenlit.

What is Macht Doing Now?
Fans of Macht are likely curious about what the Suits star has been doing recently, as the actor took a long break from the entertainment industry after his star-turning role came to an end in 2019.
Lucky for fans of both Macht and the show, they got to see him reprise his role as Specter for a short time in the first season of the spinoff series, Suits LA. Unfortunately, the show was canceled after one season. Since then, Macht has not revealed if he plans to fully return to acting.
Macht also revealed at the start of the year that he and his wife, Jacinda Barrett, moved out of the United States with their children. He hasn’t shared where exactly they live now.
