Colbert Artists Management has announced the addition of the Neave Trio to its roster, partnering for management and booking throughout North America.

The Boston-based Neave Trio was formed in 2010 and comprises violinist Anna Williams, cellist Mikhail Veselov, and pianist Eri Nakamura. Among its accolades, the trio has received a Grammy nomination for its 2022 album Musical Remembrances and has performed at prestigious venues including the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center.

It is the inaugural ensemble-residence at the Virginia Commonwealth University, and has held residency positions at institutions including the Banff Centre, Brown University, San Diego State University, University of Virginia, and the Longy School of Music of Bard College.

‘It is an absolute pleasure to share that the Neave Trio is joining the Colbert Artists roster,’ said Katie Backus, the vice president of Colbert Artists. Anna, Misha, and Eri are such a joy to work with in every way – from the rich, warm sound to the ease with which they connect with audiences.

’I’ve enjoyed getting to know the Trio already and it was clear from our first conversation that we are completely aligned with our vision for music-making in the 21st Century.’

The trio likewise expressed its enthusiasm for the partnership:

‘We are absolutely thrilled to be joining the Colbert Artists roster. From our very first meeting with Katie and Lee, it was clear that their team shares our passion for creating meaningful musical experiences and building deep connections with audiences.

’We are grateful to Katie Backus and the entire Colbert team for welcoming us so wholeheartedly, and we are so inspired as we look forward to this new exciting chapter together.’
