Atrium, a specialty insurance group at Lloyd’s, has announced the appointment of Mark Connellan as Underwriter in its Aviation team.
In this role, Connellan will work alongside Bassel Matta, Head of Aviation, strengthening the team’s position in the aviation market, following the recent addition of Rob James as Underwriter.
He joins Atrium from Westfield Specialty, where he focused on their Aviation War account. He also brings five years of experience from Convex, where he was part of the Aerospace team.
Matta added: “Mark’s appointment is another example of our unwavering commitment to Aviation as a core line of business at Atrium.
“The addition of Mark, with his proven track record and comprehensive skillset, will further enhance the high-quality service we provide to our brokers and clients. We look forward to the valuable contributions he will make as part of the Atrium team.”
