The Property Masters Guild has announced the 2nd MacGuffin Awards recipients for 2025. The PMG awards are dedicated to highlighting the work and craftsmanship of Property Masters, creating collaboration among artisans, and serving as support for future members of the guild.
For the Feature Film awards section, Dean Goodine won the Contemporary Feature Film award for “Heretic,” alongside Michael Jortner winning the Period Feature Film award for “A Complete Unknown” and Douglas Harlocker won the Fantasy/Science Fiction Feature Film award for his work in “Dune: Part Two.”
For television, Catherine Miller won the One-Hour Contemporary Television Series award for “Severance,” with Dean Eilertson won the One-Hour Period Television Series award for “Shōgun.” In the fantasy and science category, Jortner and Peter Gelfman earned the One-Hour Fantasy/Science Fiction Television Series award for “Fallout.” Andrew M. Siegel from “The Studio” took home the Half-Hour Single Camera Television Series award, with Lindsay Tomlinson Forrest receiving the Half-Hour Multi-Camera Television Series award for her work in “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.”
This year’s inaugural President’s Award was awarded to property master Alfonso Ramirez, whose credits include “Rent: Live,” “Horizon: Chapter 2” and “Lanterns.”
