The upcoming Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max just can’t stop leaking these days. Yesterday, some camera details for the Pro leaked, and today the Pro Max has received the same exact treatment.
It’s said to share the main camera and the ultrawide with its smaller sibling, but should get a slightly different telephoto. It’s still going to provide 5x optical zoom, with a 115mm focal length, but it will have a wider f/2.6 aperture compared to the Pro’s f/3.0.
The main camera is a 50 MP one with f/1.67 aperture, and the ultrawide has a 17mm focal length. Of course, these camera systems are co-branded with Leica. Both devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, which is due to become official next week. The Xiaomi 17 series should be launched before the end of the month.
