First case of bird flu in dairy cattle confirmed by USDA, and other news

  • The USDA APHIS announced earlier this week that the state and federal officials confirmed that highly pathogenic avian influenza was detected in a dairy cattle herd in Nebraska, making this the first known case of bird flu in Nebraska.
