The Indian men’s cricket team will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in its first match of the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four stage at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.

India won the group encounter, chasing down Pakistan’s 128-run target with seven wickets and 25 balls to spare.

Abhishek Sharma has been India’s most prolific batter so far in this edition, scoring 99 runs from three matches at a strike rate of 225.00 – the best in the tournament. For Pakistan, Fakhar Zaman leads the charts with 90 runs from three outings.
With the ball, Kuldeep Yadav has claimed eight wickets in three games at an average of 6.00 and an economy of 5.23. Pakistan opener Saim Ayub has also made his mark with the ball, emerging as their top wicket-taker with six scalps at an average of 10.16.
India and Pakistan have clashed 14 times in T20Is, with India leading 10–3. At Dubai, both teams have two wins each from four encounters.
In Asia Cup history, India remains the most successful side with eight titles. Sri Lanka have six, while Pakistan has lifted the trophy twice.
