Thymen Arensman and Michael Leonard took top 12 finishes in the elite men’s field at the World Time Trial Championships in Rwanda.

Taking on a hilly 40.6km course in Kigali, Arensman from the Netherlands stormed to a time of 53:25.71 to come home in ninth place, having overcome an injury in his glute to take to the start line.
