The 2025 Berlin Marathon was a remarkable success for Harry Styles, the English singer-songwriter who is also known to love running.
The former member of British pop band One Direction was among the 55,000 runners who raced on Sunday [September], finishing the marathon in an impressive 2 hours, 59 minutes, 13 seconds.
Running with race number 31,261, Styles ran under the alias ‘Sted Sarandos’ and improved his personal best of 3:24:7 from his first World Marathon Major in Tokyo last March by nearly 25 minutes.
The achievement is all the more impressive because Sunday’s race, won by Kenya’s Sabastian Sawe, was held in warm conditions.
After the race, Styles posed for a photo with Paralympic gold medallist Richard Whitehead, who also achieved a sub-three-hour finish.
