Prince Harry will never permanently return to the UK as his actions are opposite to those of his father, King Charles. The father-son duo had their much-anticipated reunion on September 10. As confirmed by Buckingham Palace, they met for private tea at Clarence House for almost an hour. However, according to an expert, the Duke of Sussex would never return to his royal duties.
Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s UK return as working royals ‘not fair on the King,’ expert claims
According to a royal expert named Hugo Vickers, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will never return to the UK as working royals because the son contradicts King Charles. Mr Vickers told The U.S Sun that the Duke of Sussex is followed by too much “controversy.” He added, “We know that the King and Harry had a meeting when he was over here. ” The expert called it “a good thing.”
“On a personal level, I think it’s very important that the King and Prince Harry should talk,” Mr Vickers continued. He also said, “Any kind of personal reconciliation between father and son” is “terribly important.” “However, as for half in, half out, no, that’s not going to work,” he continued. The expert explained, “I don’t see any possibility of Prince Harry returning here to royal duties.” He stated that the “simple reason” is that the Prince attracts a lot of publicity, often controversial.”
Mr Vickers shared, “It would be in complete contradiction to everything that the King and other members of the royal family are doing.” The expert claimed that the reunion between the estranged father and son was important on a personal level. However, he believes there isn’t a wish from anyone on this side of the Atlantic to see the Prince as a working royal again. The King was fulfilling his mother’s wishes that members of the firm would remain working royals. So, the King letting Harry return on a “half-in, half-out” basis would contradict his late mother’s wishes. He stated, “Prince Harry doing alternative royal engagements would not be good for this country.” “To completely deny Harry, sort of, this halfway house of potentially doing moral engagement, it’s a good thing,” Mr Vickers exclaimed.
