The Oppo A6 series gains a new member with the launch of the Oppo A6 Pro 4G. With a design reminiscent of the OnePlus 13T/OnePlus 13S, Oppo’s new smartphone comes in stunning colors and packs a pretty big battery.

This month alone, Oppo has announced four new Oppo A6 series smartphones. However, it isn’t done yet as it has unveiled yet another model — the Oppo A6 Pro 4G. The new phone has made its debut in Vietnam and it joins the Oppo A6 Pro 5G, Oppo A6 Max, Oppo A6 GT, and Oppo A6i.

The Oppo A6 Pro 4G has a design inspired by the OnePlus 13T/OnePlus 13S, but while OnePlus’s smartphone is a compact device with a 6.32-inch display, the Oppo A6 Pro 4G has a larger 6.57-inch AMOLED display. The screen has a FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1400 nits of peak brightness. It also has pretty slim bezels for a budget Android smartphone.

Powering the phone is MediaTek’s Helio G100 processor, and it is paired with 8GB of RAM. Buyers will be able to choose between 128GB of storage and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and they can add more storage via the MicroSD card slot.

Like the OnePlus 13S, the Oppo A6 Pro 4G has dual rear cameras. The main camera is a 50MP sensor, and it is paired with a 2MP monochrome sensor as its secondary camera. It also has a 16MP front-facing camera nestled in a centered punch hole. Thanks to having an IP69 dust and water resistance rating, the phone has an underwater camera mode alongside other photo and video modes. There are also a handful of useful AI features in the camera and gallery app such as AI eraser, AI recompose, and AI perfect shot.

The phone has stereo speakers with an ultra volume mode for up to 300% extra volume. Oppo says it also has military-grade shock resistance, an outdoor mode that enhances screen visibility, and Glove Touch which lets users operate the screen with gloves.

The highlight of the Oppo A6 Pro is its 7,000mAh battery capacity. Oppo says the battery durability should hold up for 5 years. The phone charges at 80W and can go from empty to full in just 61 minutes. It can also double as a power bank, thanks to having reverse wired charging.

The Oppo A6 Pro 4G also has a SuperCool VC cooling system that helps to reduce heat during intensive tasks. The phone ships with ColorOS 15, and Oppo says it has a “60-Month Fluency Certification” which means after five years, it should still be as smooth and responsive as it was on day one. Other features are Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 5, dual SIM support, NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock, and support for LDAC and aptX/aptX HD.

The Oppo A6 Pro 4G is available in four colors — Lunar Titanium, Stellar Blue, Coral Pink, and Rosewood Red. It is already available to buy in Vietnam, but only the 256GB storage seems to be in stock now, and it costs VD 8,290,000 (~$314/€266).
