Michelle Agyemang idolised Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott, and now Alessia Russo and Lauren James
Even before joining the Arsenal Academy, Michelle Agyemang was always drawn to the gunners.
“I was a really big fan of Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott as well,” she told Goal.com in an interview.
Those two have moved on and so has Agyemang’s inspiration, which she now takes from fellow Arsenal forward Alessia Russo and Chelsea forward Lauren James. She admires James for her dynamic, technical style, and Russo for her dynamism.
But the young forward is intent on developing her own identity, saying she hopes to be a “unique player” who can make an impact from the first minute to the last.
“As long as I’m helping the team, that’s my main ambition,” she said post the France game.
