In case you needed the reminder, the latest Taylor Swift album—The Life of a Showgirl—is just days away. With her 12th studio album, the singer is embracing all things orange. And although we’re hoping to see her in plenty of bridal white, the singer, for now, has a different color in her sights.
In the past, we’ve mused on what Swift should wear to her birthday party, awards shows, and even her own wedding. But now, we’re offering our professional opinions on what she should wear during her orange era.
Given her many spangly album cover variants, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Swift embrace sparkle. A documented fan of Vivienne Westwood, Swift could rock an orange corseted midi dress from the late British designer’s spring 2009 collection. Or, she could turn the clock back even further in the embellished dress Kate Moss wore on the spring 1996 Versace runway.
If she wanted to go the unexpected route, a pop of orange from Prada’s fall 2007 collection would be a real coup. We would also love to see Swift turn to a smaller designer and wear a voluminous Cecilie Bahnsen dress or a structured Christopher John Rogers coat.
