Love is most certainly in the air for Flora Vesterberg, granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth’s cousin, Princess Alexandra, who celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary by sharing a sweet selection of previously unseen photographs on her Instagram. The society beauty and her husband, Timothy Vesterberg, were married on 26 September 2020 in a small, private service at Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, before a grander blessing the following year.
‘It rained petals as Timothy and I took our first steps from the Chapel Royal as husband and wife,’ Flora wrote in the touching caption to her post, which showed her in a sleek, white wedding dress by Emilia Wickstead. The bride accessorised with diamond-and-pearl earrings and a small white bouquet, pulling her hair back into a half up-do, while Timothy donned a dark blue double-breasted suit for the occasion. A second black-and-white photograph showed the couple enjoying a first kiss as newlyweds outside the chapel, as petal confetti rained down upon them. ‘Jag älskar dig, min älskling,’ Flora added to her caption – which translates as ‘love you, my darling’ in Swedish, her husband’s mother tongue.
