PlayStation has officially announced a lineup of free titles for PlayStation Plus in October 2025, which will offer a mix of story-driven adventures, creative gameplay, and lighthearted fun. The announcement was shared during the recent PlayStation State of Play event. All these games shall be available from October 7, when all the PS Plus subscribers will gain access to three major titles under the PlayStation Plus Essentials tier, while an additional blockbuster joins the Extra catalog in late September. Free PlayStation Plus Essentials games for October 2025
In the recent PlayStation State of Play event Sony has announced three titles which will be coming for all the PlayStation Plus Essentials tier members in the month of October. Here are the following games which will be available October 7:
- Alan Wake 2
- Goat Simulator 3
- Cocoon
All the above games will be available only for a limited time, so all the subscribers are advised to take maximum benefit out of it before it leaves. These games highlight Sony’s effort to provide a balance between serious storytelling and playful, experimental content.
PlayStation Plus Extra catalog additions
Alongside the Essentials lineup, one of Sony’s most acclaimed titles will join the PlayStation Plus Extra tier:
- The Last of Us Part II Remastered (Available from September 26)
