The English talisman shattered Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland’s record and became the fastest to reach 100 goals for a club in Europe’s top five leagues.
Both Ronaldo (Real Madrid) and Haaland (Manchester City) reached the 100-goal milestone in 105 games whereas Kane reached there a game earlier – in 104 matches for Bayern Munich.
The 32-year-old forward scored his 99th and 100th goal against Werder on Friday as he converted a penalty in the first half before toe-poking a Luis Diaz pass to complete his brace in the second half.
With this brace, Kane has already reached 10 goals in the Bundesliga this season in only five games whilst completing 15 goals in eight games across all competitions.

Kane has also equaled Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus’ goal tally at 100 goals and is only among top 19 players for the Bavarians to reach this milestone.

“No, not at the moment. I’m really happy here,” Kane told Sky Sport Germany when asked about his return to England. “I have two years left on my contract. I’m enjoying every moment. That [returning to England] is not in my thought process. I’m enjoying it with the team, with the coach, and hopefully we continue to be successful.”

“It’s crazy for me. It’s an honour to reach 100 goals for this great club. That also reflects on my teammates and the coaching staff, who are helping me. It’s great to reach it this quickly. Hopefully to another 100 goals.”
The 32-year-old also spoke about a possible contract extension but feels extremely relaxed at the moment as he mentions that he has two years left on his contract.
“That’s something we can discuss. I have almost two years left, so there’s no reason to panic. I think they’re happy with me, and I’m happy with them,” Kane told Martin Volkmar of RanSport.
“That’s not really on my mind. When I left England, I thought maybe I’d come back to achieve that [record]. But since I’ve been here, I’ve really enjoyed playing at this level,” Kane said when asked about breaking Alan Shearer’s top Premier League goalscorer record.
