Lumasint PK 5000

Lumas validated the damage tolerance, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance of LumaSint PK 5000 on the Fuse 1+ 30W, enabling users to print parts that maintain mechanical integrity under impact, stress, and thermal cycling. With these print settings, LumaSint PK 5000 delivers consistent results on Formlabs machines, offering expanded flexibility for engineers working in automotive, aerospace, and industrial tooling applications.

Internal testing at Lumas has demonstrated the successful printing of solvent-resistant housings, heat-resistant brackets, and mechanically demanding prototypes—showcasing LumaSint PK 5000’s ability to withstand aggressive environments and physical abuse where traditional polyamides often fail. Its robust physical properties make it ideal for functional end-use parts that require long-term durability and reliability.

To print LumaSint PK 5000 on Formlabs printers, users must enable Open Material Mode. This feature is available for purchase directly from Formlabs or through Authorized Resellers. Some failure modes, which are more likely to be caused by third-party resins, are excluded from the printer’s standard warranty. Users are encouraged to review the Formlabs Terms of Service.
