Dell Technologies has unveiled the Dell Pro Plus Earbuds (EB525), introducing an AI-powered audio solution designed for professional collaboration.
The Dell Pro Plus Earbuds have been added to Dell’s audio portfolio as a response to the demands of hybrid work, focusing on voice clarity, noise filtering and manageability for IT teams. The earbuds are certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, aiming to integrate seamlessly with major collaboration platforms used in business environments.
Professional focus
With Microsoft Teams Open Office Certification, the earbuds are designed to deliver high audio quality even in shared or high-noise locations. The product leverages a deep neural network, trained on over 500 million noise samples, to isolate the user’s voice during calls. The company said ongoing updates to the AI model and noise database can be deployed through Dell Display and Peripheral Manager, keeping the device current as workplace needs evolve.
The adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system dynamically minimises background noise in busy environments, while an Enhanced Transparency Mode enables users to remain aware of their surroundings when required. This is expected to be particularly useful in open-plan offices or when commuting.
Custom fit and durability
For user comfort, the earbuds feature a selection of four earbud tip sizes-extra small, small, medium, and large-intended to provide a more personalised fit than many competitors, which typically offer three sizes. Their lightweight construction is geared towards extended wear throughout the workday.
The earbuds are designed to withstand everyday conditions, with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. A compact charging case provides convenience for employees who need portable connectivity.
Connectivity and management
Bluetooth 5.3 support enables multi-host pairing with up to eight devices. The Dell Pair function is intended to provide quick setup and smooth transitions between devices. Additionally, the compact Dell Wireless USB-C Audio Receiver fits into the earbud case for portability and flexibility.
From an IT management perspective, the Pro Plus Earbuds offer a central dashboard to configure devices, update firmware, and manage fleets of audio equipment, aiming to streamline oversight of audio hardware in business environments. Integration is designed to be straightforward with other Dell solutions such as laptops, docks and management software.

The earbuds’ touch controls support management of ANC, transparency mode, volume, calls, and music, designed for user convenience. Through the Dell Audio Mobile App, users can also customise equalizers, audio presets and transparency settings.
