Get a look at the OnePlus 15 from every angle

Just a few days after first teasing the upcoming launch of the OnePlus 15, the company is already showing off the phone in plenty of detail. Today OnePlus confirmed that the new flagship is getting a global launch, and over the weekend it dropped multiple photo sets on Chinese social media giving us a better look at the hardware.

We now know that the phone is launching in a color called “sand storm,” which is presumably in addition to the black model the company revealed at a Qualcomm event last week, and what appears to be a white handset shown in photos with a Chinese esports influencer.

As we already knew, the 15 looks a lot like this year’s 13T (also known as the 13S), with a squircle camera island in one corner, rather than a large circle in the center. The new shots also confirm that, like that phone, the classic OnePlus Alert Slider has been replaced by its customizable Plus Key shortcut button. The company confirmed a couple build details too, revealing that the phone — at least in its sand storm version — has a fiberglass back and a ceramic-coated metal frame that the company says is tougher than either aluminum or titanium.

As for specs, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and feature a 165Hz refresh rate display. OnePlus has repeatedly teased on Weibo that the 15 will launch in China next month, but it remains to be seen if there’ll be a longer wait for the phone to reach the US.
