LAP LEADERS, PASSING
- Thirty drivers led laps in 2025, an INDYCAR SERIES record.
- Records for most race leaders were broken at:

- There were 4,991 on-track passes in 2025, with a season-high 685 recorded at the Milwaukee Mile.

TRACK ACTIVITY

- The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding featured:
- Seven different race leaders – one shy of the all-time event record.
- Nine lead changes – the most in seven years.
- The Thermal Club INDYCAR Grand Prix featured:
- The most passes for position (208) on record for an all-green flag road/street circuit race.
- The 50th edition of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach featured:
- A modern event record of more than 200,000 fans for the weekend.

- 242 on-track passes (200 for position) – second-most on record at PIR.
- The Snap-on Milwaukee Mile 250 featured:
- A dramatic and exciting first-time winner and the first first-time winner since the Streets of Toronto in 2023. Christian Rasmussen became the 299th driver in series history to win a race.
- 685 on-track passes (306 for position) – second-most on record for INDYCAR at the Milwaukee Mile.
- The Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix presented by WillScot featured:
