Kieran Culkin’s wife says she’s pregnant after ‘Succession’ star revealed baby pact in Oscars speech

After Kieran Culkin went viral with his Oscars speech saying his wife pledged to have another baby with him if he won, Jazz Charton announced Monday she lived up to her end of the bargain as the couple awaits their third child.

Charton revealed a baby bump on Sunday at the opening night of “Waiting for Godot” on Broadway starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter.

In an Instagram post on Monday featuring photos from her night out with the “Succession” star on Broadway, Charton formally announced her pregnancy.

“Saw Keanu Reeves on broadway and now I’m 9 months pregnant … this is very on brand for me,” she joked. “I made a deal with this baby to let me make it to this before labor, not sure what it wants in return but I’m CLEARLY a woman of my word.”

The 42-year-old actor and his 37-year-old wife already have two children together, daughter Kinsey, 6, and son Wilder, 4.

Charton’s pregnancy comes after Culkin’s multiple public announcements expressing his desire to have more children.

In January of last year, Culkin won the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Drama Aeries for “Succession.” In his acceptance speech, he not only thanked his wife, but he also asked her for more kids.

“Thank you for sharing your life with me and giving me two amazing kids,” he said. “And, Jazz, I want more. You said maybe, if I win,” he added, as the audience broke out into laughter.

At the 97th Academy Awards in March, Culkin gave another acceptance speech after winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in “A Real Pain.” He once again thanked his wife and then vocalized his wish to have more children.

Culkin said that after his 2024 Emmys speech, Charton acknowledged the couple’s baby pact, telling him, “I guess I owe you a third kid.” Culkin said he responded, “Really, I want four.”

He continued to tell the audience, “And she turned to me — I swear to God this happened. It was just a over a year ago. She said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar.’”

Toward the end of his speech, Culkin added, “Let’s get cracking on those kids. What do you say?”

Charton humorously responded to her husband’s request in an Instagram post two days later.

“AN OSCAR?!!!! Okay okay hear me out — making empty baby pacts may seem foolish but it’s clearly been a great motivator. Would he have come this far if I hadn’t kept promising him more kids if he won awards?….. Probably. But who’s to say?…”
