Pakistan conducts test of Fatah-4 cruise missile-Xinhua

ISLAMABAD, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) — Pakistan successfully conducted a training launch of the newly inducted, indigenously developed Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile on Tuesday, said the military.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, the missile system is capable of striking targets up to 750 km away with high precision.

“Equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids, this weapon system is capable of evading enemy’s missile defense system due to terrain-hugging features and engaging targets with high precision,” said the ISPR.

The launch was carried out under the Army Rocket Force Command and is expected to significantly enhance the reach, lethality and survivability of Pakistan Army’s conventional missile arsenal, ISPR added.
