Samsung is making it easier than ever for Galaxy users to stay informed with up-to-the-minute sports scores and financial market insights, now instantly accessible within Samsung News. Starting today, Samsung News is rolling out a new Sports tab and dedicated stock market module powered by Yahoo Media Group, which operates Yahoo Sports and Yahoo Finance. Whether you’re checking the score of your favorite team’s game or keeping an eye on financial markets, the information you need is all in one place, one tap away.

As pioneers in digital media with decades of authority in both sports and finance, Yahoo Sports and Yahoo Finance will serve as highly trusted sources of real-time information for Samsung News. Galaxy users will have instant access to breaking headlines, expert market insights, and in-depth written and video sports coverage—all delivered seamlessly within their Samsung ecosystem.

The new dedicated Sports tab provides access to up-to-the-minute scores, schedules, standings, and stats directly from top sports leagues. Fans can also personalize their experience by following specific teams and sports.

For financial market watchers, Samsung News is getting a major upgrade with a dedicated Yahoo Finance module displaying real-time financial information tracking major U.S. indices, and more. This update is available in English, in the US and Canada, with additional languages and territories launching soon— and is compatible with all Galaxy smartphones and tablets from 2023 onward.
