Harriet Sperling and Peter Philips continue their summer of love at the Royal Charity Polo Cup with Prince William

Peter and Harriet first appeared together in public in May 2024, when a source told The Sun that the couple looked ‘smitten’ at Badminton. One of Phillips’ friends revealed to The Telegraph that he had ‘recently’ found a new partner after splitting his partner of three years, Lindsay Wallace earlier that year, and that, while the two were ‘spending time together’, it was too early to comment on the nature of the still burgeoning relationship.

Sperling seems comfortable with royal company, appearing relaxed when Peter introduced her to Queen Camilla. The paediatric specialist was in high spirits as she joined the royals for one of the family’s favourite outings, Badminton. Come Ascot last summer, Peter introduced Harriet to his uncle, King Charles.

One year later, and the lovebirds are still going strong, garnering one of the Firm’s ultimate honours with an invite to Ascot’s royal procession. A sure sign, some might assume, that Harriet Sperling may soon find herself wearing a royal wedding ring. Of course, only time can tell, but what is clear is that she has certainly found her footing among the great and gilded of the British aristocracy.

Peter has had his fair share of public romantic ups and downs. After a 13-year marriage to Autumn Kelly ended in 2021, and a recent three-year relationship with Lindsay Wallace came to a close earlier this year, insiders say Peter is now ‘over the moon’ with Harriet. Love was in the air, then, when the couple joined Prince William in Windsor today.
