Plans are being hatched to help Everton Women feel straight at home at Goodison Park next season. The Everton Women Official Supporters’ Club and the 1878s Fan Group are working closely with the Club to ensure the colour and noise Evertonians already associate with Goodison is replicated at WSL matches next season. >>>Click here to secure your Season Ticket>>>> Peter McFarlane is the secretary of the Everton Women Official Supporters’ Club and a member of the influential 1878s Fan Group. He explains both groups are passionate about creating a vibrant and colourful matchday atmosphere at Goodison next season. “We had a dedicated section at Walton Hall Park, with songs for every player,” he explained. “And we want to recreate that at Goodison Park so we can all be together and hopefully help give the players as much of a boost as possible. “Goodison is renowned for its incredible atmosphere. We want to try to replicate that, as well as putting our own stamp on it.” A section dedicated to generating an atmosphere will be created in the Howard Kendall Gwladys Street End, in block GT3. “Just to the right of the goal where the letter ‘E’ is, basically,” explained Peter, where fans who want to ensure noise and colour on matchdays will be encouraged to gather. And the 1878s are aiming to create more of their enormously popular flags and banners – focused purely on Everton Women. “If you look at some of the photos from last season, we’ve been working our way through all of the players and all of the different nations,” he added. “We have players coming in from all over the world and we want to make them feel at home. “We’ve now got four Japanese players, for example, and one of the things that was mentioned in one of the player interviews was that the flags make them feel at home. “We also plan to have a few nods towards history, highlighting the important players from our history, whether that be famous players or giants of the women’s game. “We see it as our job to make those players feel at home. “We are familiar with Goodison Park – we all love Goodison, it’s in our blood, it’s part of our life, but it’s so important that the players feel that as well. Hopefully we can help with that.” While 52,769 Everton supporters are eagerly awaiting a new era at Hill Dickinson Stadium, The Women’s Supporters’ Club want thousands of new fans to flock to Goodison next season. “We really hope that’s the case,” said Peter. “Up until two weeks before the end of last season, we all expected Goodison to end up being a pile of rubble. We thought she was gone. There were a lot of Evertonians who might not have been able to get to Goodison before the end of last season, so I think this just gives everyone a second chance to go and experience Goodison Park. “The women’s game is growing exponentially, and what better way to introduce your kids or introduce your family to Everton Football Club than to get them down to Goodison Park and support the Women’s team? “There’s a waiting list for Hill Dickinson so the hunger is there to go to watch Everton play. This is an opportunity for people to introduce the kids to Everton Football Club, show them around Goodison Park and learn about the history of the club, whilst watching a team who are going to give everything to fight for our badge.” Adult Season Tickets are priced at just £100, with under-18s able to secure their place for £50 – offering outstanding value at approximately £4 per match. >>>Click here to secure your Season Ticket>>>> Supporters who purchase before Monday 28 July 2025 will also receive: An exclusive welcome gift An invitation to a special open training session during the season Automatic entry into a prize draw for a behind-the-scenes tour of Everton’s Finch Farm training ground
