Performance supplement brand MOVE Pre-Workout has launched MOVE Endurance Pre-Workout – a new product designed specifically for endurance athletes.
According to the company, the new formula is aimed at supporting lasting stamina, hydration, and focus during longer training sessions and competitions such as marathons, triathlons, and hybrid events.
Tom Coughlin, Performance Nutritionist at MOVE Pre-Workout, stated that endurance athletes have specific needs that may not be addressed by typical pre-workout products.
“This formula isn’t about a short energy spike,” said Coughlin. “It’s about lasting stamina, sharper focus and better hydration to keep your system performing when it matters most.”
The company adds that each ingredient in MOVE Endurance is included at a clinically researched dose. The product is batch-tested under the Informed Sport certification programme and does not include beta-alanine – a common pre-workout ingredient that MOVE claims offers no benefit for endurance performance.
Core ingredients include:
- 150mg caffeine to support alertness, metabolic efficiency and muscle contractility
- 1.5g taurine for fat oxidation, reduced fatigue and body cooling
- 2g L-arginine with 500mg vitamin C to improve blood flow and oxygen use
- 900mg blackcurrant extract to increase fatigue resistance and fat metabolism
- Electrolyte blend (530mg sodium, 400mg chloride, 115mg potassium) based on endurance sweat-loss data
- Vitamins B12 and D3 for red blood cell production and muscle strength
MOVE Endurance can be used pre-workout or consumed during exercise. For shorter sessions, athletes are advised to mix one scoop with water and drink 30–45 minutes before exercise. For longer sessions, a second serving or additional caffeine source may be used during activity.
“For most individuals, one serving will be sufficient,” notes Tom Coughlin. “However, to maintain elevated caffeine levels and sustained benefits during prolonged efforts, a second dose of caffeine is often beneficial. This could come from an additional serving of MOVE Endurance or by incorporating other caffeinated sources.”
For example, for a marathon or extended training, athletes might consider taking an initial serving pre-race and then topping up with a caffeinated energy gel (e.g., 100mg caffeine) at strategic intervals, such as one hour and two hours into an activity.
There are two main flavours, Strawberry & Lime and Watermelon & Sea Salt. In the UK, the product is priced at £24.99 for 40 servings or 30 8g sachets for £29.99.
