Google Nest Aware getting a price increase in August

Following the last increase in 2023, Google is raising the price of Nest Aware in the US next month. This is according to an email sent out to existing subscribers today.

The entry Nest Aware subscription now costs $10 per month or $100 annually ($20 savings). This gives you 30 days of event-based video history. It was previously $8/month and $80/year, and $6/month and $60/year at launch in 2020.

Meanwhile, Nest Aware Plus is now $20 per month or $200 annually ($40 savings), compared to $15/month and $150/year (originally $12/month and $120/year). This gets you up to 10 days of 24/7 video history and 60 days of event video history.

Both tiers provide intelligent alerts for Familiar Faces, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, and glass breaking warnings, as well as e911 calling. At the moment, Nest Aware subscribers also have access to the Gemini-powered Google Assistant on the Nest Audio and Mini.
