Andre Iguodala II is Texas bound

Iguodala Jr is heading to Texas later this year after committing to Baylor University in Waco.

The teenager will be a freshman from the start of 2025-26 season, with the Baylor Bears an NCAA Division I team competing in the Big 12 Conference.

After Iguodala joined the 2025 signing class in April, head coach Scott Drew said: “Andre is a talented player with great athleticism who wants to be coached.

“He has a championship pedigree and will fit right in with our Culture of JOY. The Baylor Family will really enjoy getting to know him once he arrives on campus.”

Said to be a “late-blooming prospect”, Iguodala described himself as a “3&D shooter with some athleticism and playmaking”.

He added to college sports newsletter On3: “The staff and the opportunity to develop and improve were big reasons why I committed.

“They showed me a lot of support and love and looked like a true family on my official visit to campus.”
