The Toronto Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors 81-69 in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Thursday.
Despite Golden State getting out to a 23-13 lead after the opening frame, Toronto dominated this game. The Raptors rode a 23-14 second quarter to get back into the game and then took control with a 26-16 third quarter. That allowed Toronto to lead by at least five points for the closing 13 minutes of this game. The Raptors shot 84 percent from the free-throw line (26-for-31) while the Warriors shot 66 percent (19-for-29). Toronto won the turnover battle, 27-14, while outscoring Golden State in points off turnovers, 33-14. They also out-assisted the Warriors, 19-14, while outscoring them in the paint, 40-24.
The Raptors (4-0) were led by Collin Murray-Boyles, who posted 20 points, nine rebounds, two assists and four steals. Jamison Battle had 11 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Alijah Martin led the bench with 13 points, seven rebounds and two assists, while A.J. Lawson accrued 12 points, three rebounds, five assists and three steals.
The Warriors (2-2) had just one player in double figures, with Chris Manon amassing 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks. Will Richard tallied seven points, five rebounds and four assists. Taran Armstrong led the bench with eight points, five rebounds and two assists.
Golden State’s final game of the Summer League will be a consolation matchup on Saturday against an unknown opponent. Toronto has advanced to Saturday’s semifinals with its perfect record and will face either the Sacramento Kings or the Los Angeles Clippers. The Charlotte Hornets and Oklahoma City Thunder are the other two teams in the semis.
