Identifying parts unused
Although it was challenging to migrate twenty-year-old data without disrupting existing business processes, Atos came up with a tailor-made solution. Its experts created a unique roadmap and leveraged a sandbox to successfully migrate relevant assets by identifying unused parts of the system. Atos teams built the production environments and conducted user acceptance testing (UAT).
Minimal impact on go-live was ensured by limiting the required downtime to a single weekend. In addition, Atos change management specialists developed training modules for innogy employees to help them understand the capabilities of the new technology.
The project was completed more than two months ahead of schedule with no impact on the existing business processes.
