Dillon Jones scored 25 points to lead the Washington Wizards to a 94-85 win over the New York Knicks in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Pavilion on Saturday.
Jones had 11 points at the half and turned up the heat down the stretch on his way to 8-for-13 shooting, including 2-for-3 from deep, along with a game-high 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block.
The game got out to a competitive start as the Wizards led by two points after one quarter. The Knicks picked up their play in the second and stepped ahead with a five-point advantage at the break. Neither side could pull away in the third, while the Wizards trimmed it back to a three-point difference entering the final frame. The Wizards picked up momentum in the fourth and eventually took total control as they outscored the Knicks 34-22 in the quarter to secure the win.
Jamir Watkins also came up large for the Wizards, as he racked up 23 points, eight rebounds, two assists and a whopping five steals. Jonathan Pierre totaled 18 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Keshon Gilbert added 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists and a steal.
On the other side, Anton Watson led the Knicks with 21 points, six rebounds and three assists. Dink Pate followed up with 20 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, a steal and two blocks, while Mohamed Diawara amassed nine points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
