Kennedy Chandler scored 20 points to lead the Houston Rockets to a 104-101 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Pavilion on Saturday.

Chandler turned up the heat in the second half, where he scored 15 of his points to help lift his squad in the win. He finished the night with 6-for-14 shooting, including 2-for-7 from deep, six assists and a steal.

The Timberwolves were off to a hot start with a 31-22 lead after one quarter. Both sides delivered a strong effort in the second, but the Timberwolves held on to their nine-point advantage at halftime.

The Rockets began to improve their play in the third, where they also managed to trim two points off the deficit, making it a seven-point game entering the final quarter. The Timberwolves opened the quarter with a quick 5-0 run, but the Rockets turned it up a notch from there and outscored the Timberwolves 27-12 the rest of the way to complete the impressive comeback.

The Rockets shot 46.3% from the field, including 11-for-33 from deep. They also had four players score in double figures, including Chandler, as Adonis Arms and Kevon Harris followed up with 18 points each, and Mylik Wilson stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, eight rebounds, five assists, four steals and a block.

On the other side, Tristen Newton led the Timberwolves with 24 points, five rebounds, 10 assists and two steals. Jesse Edwards followed up with 18 points, eight rebounds and a steal, while Amari Bailey tallied 17 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.
