LAS VEGAS – The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Detroit Pistons, 96-84, in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday.

While Detroit got out to a 12-point lead in the opening frame, San Antonio never relinquished the lead after tying it up by the end of the quarter. A 34-23 second quarter allowed the Spurs to take control, leading by at least six points for the entirety of the second half. They stretched the lead as high as 22 points.

San Antonio shot 47.9% from the field and 40.6% percent from 3-point range while holding Detroit to 42.5% percent from the field and 26.9% from long range. The Spurs also out-rebounded the Pistons, 37-32, while outscoring them in fast break points, 17-9.

The Pistons (4-1) were led by John Ukomadu, providing 12 points and three rebounds off the bench. Second-round pick Chaz Lanier led the starters with 11 points, while Tolu Smith totaled 10 points and four boards. Trevor Keels also collected 10 points and four rebounds.

The Spurs (3-2) were led by David Jones-García, tallying 23 points, six rebounds and three assists. Dexter Dennis had 12 points, three rebounds and two assists. Jameer Nelson Jr. amassed 13 points, three rebounds and two assists, while Josh Uduje accrued 11 points and two assists.
