Roger Federer’s twin daughters practise at Rafael Nadal Academy in Mallorca

The Federer tennis legacy is continuing with the daughters of Roger and Mirka Federer.

15-year-old twins Myla and Charlene, the oldest of the four Federer children, were seen training at the Rafael Nadal Academy in Mallorca, with their former tennis professional parents in attendance.

The academy takes its name from two-time Olympic champion Rafael Nadal, who set up the multi-use sports facility in his hometown of Manacor on the Spanish island. Federer, who retired from tennis in 2022, went to Spain to visit his friend and former rival.

Roger and Mirka stepped down from the sport 20 years apart, having met each other while representing Switzerland at the Olympic Games Sydney 2000. It proved to be the only Olympic appearance for Mirka, then known as Miroslava Vavrinec.

Meanwhile Roger, a 20-time Grand Slam champion, won a doubles gold medal at Beijing 2008 with Swiss compatriot Stan Wawrinka before taking the silver medal in the singles competition at London 2012.

The couple most recently attended Wimbledon 2025 together in the Royal Box, a tournament where Roger is an eight-time champion and member of the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
