LOS ANGELES (July 22, 2025) – SQUARE ENIX announced the upcoming start of the Closed Beta Test (CBT) for its highly anticipated multiplayer murder mystery action game, KILLER INN. Players can sign up to participate in a Steam playtest, which will begin on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. PDT / 6:00 p.m. EDT, and be among the first to experience KILLER INN.
The closed beta will run until Monday, July 28, 2025 at 2:59 p.m. PDT / 5:59 p.m. EDT and will focus primarily on testing network features and server performance. Additional beta tests are planned for future dates. In addition to server testing, SQUARE ENIX encourages players to share gameplay feedback via a survey provided during the CBT.

Selected participants will be notified by email at the start of the closed beta. Sign-ups will remain open throughout the beta period, and additional players may be invited as testing progresses. Updates and further details will be shared through official social media channels and the Steam News Hub.
For players excited to be the first to experience KILLER INN, they can visit the Steam store page to sign up for the closed beta test and add the game to their Wishlist. About KILLER INN
KILLER INN is a murder mystery action game, fought between the minority team of wolves and the majority team of lambs. Set in a mysterious old castle, 24 players engage in a life-or-death battle of deception. Wolves must disguise themselves amongst the lambs, taking them down one by one. The lambs collect clues (hair, fingerprints, clothing, etc.) left behind at the murder scenes to narrow down the wolves and eliminate them. Enjoy a battle between detectives and murderers as if you have wandered into the world of a mystery drama.
