Samsung rolls out One UI 8 Watch update for Galaxy Watch Ultra

Samsung is rolling out a major update to its Galaxy Watch Ultra, bringing many of the health features and design improvements from the new Galaxy Watch8 series to existing users.

The One UI 8 Watch update, announced Tuesday, adds smart fitness tools like Running Coach, Vascular Load, and Antioxidant Index — all designed to give users more personal, motivational insights into their health.

The update also gives the Watch Ultra a visual and usability refresh. The new Multi-Info Tiles let users customise what they see at a glance — whether it’s their heart rate, step count, or weather updates — all without needing to dig through menus. Another handy addition is the Now Bar, which keeps whatever app or activity you’re using easily accessible, making navigation smoother.
Priced at ₹59,999, the Watch Ultra is Samsung’s most rugged smartwatch yet, made for outdoor adventures and fitness fanatics.

Samsung is also introducing a new Titanium Blue finish for the Watch Ultra, adding to its lineup of sleek, premium-looking designs.

The update comes just ahead of the global launch of the Galaxy Watch8, Watch8 Classic, and the Watch Ultra in Titanium Blue. All the models are available for pre-order and will go on sale July 25.

While the Watch8 series, with a starting price of ₹32,999, is designed more for everyday wear with a focus on comfort and style, the Ultra remains the go-to pick for users who want top-tier durability and performance features.
