Thélios inaugurates new manufacturing facility, re…

On July 10, Thélios inaugurated a new production site in Longarone, Italy entirely dedicated to metal processing for metal frames.

The new 20,000-square-meter site counts 400 employees. It joins the neighboring Manifattura facility launched in 2018 and now specialized in acetate frames, creating an integrated 40,000-square-meter manufacturing hub and a state-of-the-art center of excellence for Made in Italy luxury eyewear.

The inauguration marks the completion of an ambitious project launched in 2023 with the acquisition of the former Safilo facility by Thélios, the integration of around 250 ex-Safilo employees and a complete renovation of the facility. The site has undergone a makeover to align with the aesthetic and functional standards of the Manifattura, with no interruption in production activities. Common areas, technical infrastructure, lighting and green spaces have all been designed to create a high-quality workspace for Thélios employees.

This new chapter in production strategy enables Thélios to bring together its impressive array of expertise at a single location, enhancing processes and unlocking synergies across activities while driving ongoing innovation. The Manifattura now counts more than 1,300 employees.
Longarone embodies Thélios’ vision of Made in Italy artisanal excellence in eyewear for prestigious LVMH Group maisons, including Dior, Fendi, Celine, Givenchy, Loewe, Bulgari, Kenzo, Berluti, TAG Heuer and Fred, as well as its proprietary brands Barton Perreira and Vuarnet.
