Punjab announces position holders of 2025 matric exam

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The educational boards of Punjab have announced the position holders for the Matric Annual Examinations 2025.

Multan

The deputy commissioner of Multan announced the names of the position holders. A total of 125,000 candidates participated in the examination.

According to the Multan Education Board, Haroon Hamid from Dunyapur secured the first position with 1,193 marks, while Hussaina Fatima earned the second position with 1,188 marks. Hafiza Asbha Fatima, along with Asbha Fatima, Merab Fatima, and Khadija, secured the third position with 1,187 marks each.

Bahawalpur

In the Bahawalpur Education Board, Tayyaba Amin from Chishtian clinched the first position in the Matric exams with 1,185 marks. Abdullah Rashid from Haroonabad secured the second position with 1,182 marks, while Alizeh Liaquat from Chishtian took the third position with 1,181 marks.

A total of 91,643 candidates participated in the first Matric annual exam, with 80,491 in the Science group and 11,152 in the Arts group.

Sargodha



The Sargodha Secondary Education Board announced the position holders for the Matric Annual Examinations 2025. Marwa Sohail from Sargodha secured the first position with 1,187 marks. Muhammad Siraj Khan took the second position with 1,186 marks, while Muhammad Asad Javed, Muhammad Mubeen Arshad, Muneeb ur Rehman, and Ayesha Muskan from Bhakkar secured the third position with 1,184 marks each.

Faisalabad

According to the Faisalabad Education Board, Muhammad Muaaz Qamar topped the Matric Annual Examinations 2025 with 1,189 marks.

Maham Mumtaz from Painsra secured the second position with 1,187 marks, while Merab Wark took the third position with 1,186 marks. A prize distribution ceremony will be held tomorrow by the education board.

Sahiwal



The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sahiwal reported that 71,789 students participated in the Matric Annual Examinations, with 48,680 students passing, resulting in a pass rate of 67.81%.

According to the Board Chairman, Muhammad Faizan Farid Asrar from Okara district secured the first position with 1,189 marks. Umme Roman earned the second position with 1,187 marks, while Muhammad Faizan Chaudhry took the third position with 1,186 marks. The position holders were announced by Board Chairman Dr Asif Tufail.

Gujranwala



The Gujranwala Education Board also announced its position holders for the Matric Annual Examinations. A total of 19 candidates secured various positions in the Science and Arts groups. Girls outperformed boys, securing seven positions, while boys secured three. Shafaat Rasool, Alisha Zaib, and Fatima each scored 1,187 out of 1,200 marks to share the first position.

Muhammad Mohid and Muhammad Abdullah secured the second position with 1,186 marks. According to the Gujranwala Board Chairman, five candidates achieved the third position with 1,185 marks.
